The Cathedral of the Good Shepherd is the largest religious building Donostia-San Sebastian . He chairs the center of the city and is a beautiful set with Mitxelena cultural center and post office. Its tower, located on the entrance portico, stands 75 meters tall needle-shaped and is visible from almost every corner of the capital.

This work neo-Gothic of the architect Manuel Echave 
was opened in 1897. It has a rectangular, symmetrical, in the form of a Latin cross with three naves, transept and chancel addition. It was built in ashlar stone from quarries in Igeldo, like so many buildings in the city.

In the temple you can see many decorations, among which the windows, gargoyles and pinnacles.

The cathedral is open every day from 8:00 to 12:30 hours in the morning and 17:00 to 20:00 in the afternoon.
