City: Aia


Scattered within its municipal boundaries, Aia has numerous temples located in different neighborhoods of this vast territory.


St. Stephen's Parish Church , rebuilt and extended in different centuries. It is a building with a nave with Latin cross plan, octagonal apse and vaults. Masses are held on Sundays and religious holidays.


Ermita Aizpeako Andra Maria , situated not far from the church, took a natural shelter from the rock. Save inside an image of the Virgin of Aizpea, belonging to the fifteenth century.


Shrine of the cross , which is halfway between the town and the nearby cemetery. Under a gabled roof, supported by heavy beams, it is at the heart of Baroque carved stone cross.
