The archaeological and monumental de Santa María la Real includes the bell tower Zarautz, the parish of Santa María la Real and the archaeological site has been found in both buildings.


The bell tower, built in the fifteenth century, is the oldest building in the town, except the part of the bell tower was added in the eighteenth.

Hours and Tours

- Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00 hours and 15:30 to 18:30

- Sunday and Holidays: 15:30 to 18:30 hours

- Except in summer, Easter and special days, from Tuesday to Friday, the parish will be visited by guided tours offered at 12:30 and 16:30.

- Because some of the site is within the parish, which is in use, we recommend checking the schedules.

- Closed on Mondays


Guided Tours

The tours are one hour suitable for the general public.
