Hondarribia Town Council 's objectives is to enhance the historic heritage resources of cultural and informational purposes. This framework includes the creation of the "Center of interpretation of the walled city " in a landmark building in the City, the former powder magazine located on Calle Javier Ugarte.

 This project has sought, first, to recover an important building in the history of the walled city of Hondarribia , as is the powder magazine built in the seventeenth century, and secondly, to give this building a common use for all citizens and visitors through an audiovisual.

 Since the building is small and is in good condition, has maintained its original configuration called attention to its magnificent dome seating that regains its importance for the projection of the audiovisual.

 The general approach is to offer the visitor an introduction to the visit to the city with an invitation to know and giving a clear and simple historical peculiarities of this space. That is, the first human occupation, its Roman origins as a fortress, its environment and geography, historical events, etc. .. To do so, has created a visual extravaganza, fully integrated into the building using the most advanced technologies and powerful staging, surprising and novel.
