Today, September 15, has presented the documentary series "Una historia de Zinemaldia " ETB series premiere on Friday, September 24, in ETB-2 at 22:00.


This production of Morgan Creative , directed by Diego Galan and directed by Carlos Rodriguez , shells in 13 chapters in the history of International Film Festival San Sebastian since 1953 until today. The preview of the series before its broadcast on television will take place this Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia de San Sebastian at 19:30 pm (by invitation).


Each half-hour episode of each, is presented by an actor or actress known to lead the narrative: Barbara Goenaga, Juan Diego Botto, Martin Rivas, Marta Etura, Maribel Verdú, Emma Suarez, Oscar Jaenada, Unax Ugalde, Eduardo Noriega Adriana Ugarte, Paco León, Aitana Sanchez Gijon ...


Composing the Festival's history through vintage images and the testimonies of those who witnessed the major events is not easy. The program team has conducted over fifty interviews with personalities from different fields to contribute their views and to compose with fragments of his memories of the festival's history.


Filmmakers such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Pedro Almodovar, Gonzalo Suárez, Imanol Uribe, Elias Querejeta, Montxo Armendariz, Jose Luis Borau, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, Koldo Zuazua or Goran Paskaljevic , Serbian director who will head the festival this year, players such as Antonio Banderas, Javier Bardem, José Sacristán, Carmen Maura, Monica Randall  and Amparo Ribelles are some of the personalities who have paid to participate in the series.


The documentary also includes, among others, the testimonies of Donostia personalities who have lived very well in the beating of Zinemaldia as mayors Labaien Ramon , Xabier Albistur and Odon Elorza , the presenter Edurne Ormazabal and of course, the former directors Luis Calparsoro, Luis Gasca, Nestor Basterretxea, Angel Herrero Jose Velarde, Leopoldo Arsuaga, Peio Aldazabal, Manuel Perez Estremera, Mikel Olaciregui himself and the same series director Diego Galán provide valuable testimony to the construction of the history of Zinemaldia.
