The writers Maria DueÑas and Imanol Murua Uria  collected the Silver Euskadis this year for being the best selling books in San Sebastian during the past World Book Day

The writers Maria Dueñas (on behalf of the editorial director of Temas de Hoy, Belén López) and Imanol Murua Uria collected from the hands of Andoni Arantzegi (President of the Guild of Booksellers Gipuzkoa) and Mikel Irizar (representative of Kutxa) the Euskadis Silver this year for being the best selling books in San Sebastian during the past World Book Day (April 23). The ceremony took place in the Activity Room of the Central Library (San Jerónimo).

Andoni Arantzegi has introduced the novel The time between seams and highlighted the good work done by both the editorial and by booksellers when publicizing this book. Belén López has excused the presence of Mary and thanked the distinction in its name. The author was born in Puertollano is working in the United States will be his second book.

Mikel Irizar has commented that he read last year during Easter holidays Zazpi etxe Frantzian (Bernardo Atxaga). This year it was the turn of Loiolako Hegiak. Interestingly, both books have won the Silver Award Euskadi (the Atxaga in 2009, that of this Murua 2010). Imanol Murua himself was pleased how the readers have received his work, although it does not have a happy ending. This week's edition was presented in Castilian (The triangle of Loyola).
